Perfect breakfast and coffee come together at “To the Point” Cafe

ImageIf there is one thing we love more at Noon than handmade jewelry, then its gotta be food.  If Noon was transformed overnight into a cafe, it would look a lot like “To the Point”. This morning I was introduced to the most wonderful breakfast nook in Point Loma.  It’s appropriately named “To the Point”.  This hidden gem has extremely tasteful décor, and by tasteful I mean that we could take home any piece of furniture or wall art and it would fit perfectly in the Noon Shop.  Not only is the ambiance ideal for a peaceful brunch with friends, but the food and drinks are “point on”.   I think it’s rare to find a café that can deliver a delicious cup of java and prepare a quality breakfast entrée.  I usually find myself making two stops in the morning, one for a good cup of Joe and the other for a decent breakfast burrito or something along those lines.  This isn’t the case with “To the Point”; they kill two birds with one stone, great coffee and even better food.

“To the Point” has a breakfast and lunch menu with unique coffee drinks and morning cocktails to boot!  This morning I stuck with my old friend coffee, but I spotted salted caramel hot chocolate on the menu, so I plan on treating myself to one of those real soon.  I also ordered the veggie egg wrap, which was complete with scrambled eggs, sundried tomato cream cheese, tomato, spinach, sautéed mushrooms and onions.  I also had some nibbles off of my girlfriend’s lox benedict, which was a little piece of heaven; put cured salmon and capers on anything and I’ll be happy.

The bottom line is that you need to try this place.  They are also seasonal, local and sustainable which means they are the kind of business that we all love to support.  “To the Point” cafe, I’m hungry again just thinking about it…I’ll see you there soon!
